‘In the Place of Justice’ shortlisted for prestigious prize

The acclaimed In the Place of Justice by Wilbert Rideau has been shortlisted for the prestigious Crime Writers’ Association’s Gold Dagger for Non-Fiction. The judges found the book “heart-warming”.
Rideau’s editor at Profile Books, Rukhsana Yasmin says: ‘I am thrilled to see Wilbert Rideau’s powerful biography shortlisted for the CWA. In The Place of Justice is an incredible story of life behind bars in America’s most violent prison.
